Some articles about Conti di San Bonifacio resort are featured below:
"Some places in the world have such good advance publicity that before you even get there, you’re already in love with them. Paris is one such place. New York is another. And Tuscany? Cue some serious sighs. Let’s just say that if you ever had to imagine what heaven looks, smells and feels like, Tuscan countryside would be quick to spring to mind. There’s something so incredibly evocative – and a little unreal – about that landscape of long twisting roads and mediaeval towns, ancient olive groves, vineyards bathed in extravagant sunshine, and flat plains studded with handsome piles of farm-houses. And afterwards – long after you’ve come home, unpacked your bags and loaded up the images onto your computer – there’s still a sense that the whole thing was a dream." [Full Article...]
"Lush vineyards, world-class wineries, luxury accommodations, excellent food and fun-filled activities, all these and more as you explore the world's best wine producing regions." [Full Article...] [Cover]
"This restored stone farmhouse sits in the middle of gorgeously green lands under the Tuscan sun. Conti di San Bonifacio is a working farm and wine estate where tables display wines straight from the vineyards for guests to taste and all of the space has a designer finish." [Full Article...]
"We love Room 1 for one simple reason – it's huge. Three of the walls have windows, there's a huge four-poster bed delicately draped in muslin and a huge bath in the huge bathroom. For lots of natural light in a smaller space, pick Room 3 – plenty of windows, and a freestanding claw-foot bath tub in the black-, gold- and silver-speckled bathroom. For families, Rooms 4 and 5 interconnect – and they open straight out onto the garden." [Full article...]
Read what people have to say about us on Trip Advisor:
We had an amazing 6 days at Conti Di San Bonifacio. The 360 degree view is stunning, the food/wine is authentic and delicious, the hotel from the outside is rustic and charming with a stylish and chic interior. The staff are attentive yet not intrusive and nothing was too much trouble. We had planned to do several day trips around the region but sitting by the pool and looking at the view was far too tempting. We would also seriously recommend the the wine tasting, as it is so much more than a conventional wine tasting. The whole experience was first class, we'll be back.
After the snow and cold in the UK it was a complete change of scenery to be met at the Airport in the Roman Sunshine. The villa standing alone on the hill looked majestic amongst the Tuscan cypresses that hug the road leading to this imposing villa. The Villa is immaculate in its presentation with stunning 360 degree panoramic views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The Villa is everything you would expect, from the owners attention to detail, the perfect tranquil location and large comfortable bedrooms. Amanda the cook in residence cooked sublime meals and also acted as an unofficial guide with recommendations to some hidden local treasures. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone.
This is one of the most tranquil and relaxing places I have stayed in. Amanda, who is principally in charge of looking after the guests is a wonder. The cooking is rustic and homemade Italian in style, but always delicious. The Count himself is charming and urbane and very happy to help and chat. One of the most relaxing places I have stayed at with a delightful shabby designed chic to it. Added to this the extremely good local wine and whether for a long weekend or a week, it is a great place to take a sophisticated break from it all.
